1998 Chevy Truck fuel pressure

when trying to start should fuel pressure hold around 60 pis or will it drop to 30 or 40 psi

Your fuel pressure should be 60-66psi it should drop bcuz the injectors are opening and closing dunno how far its suppose to drop and the fuel pressure regulator maintains the pressure at all times.
