1997 Chevy Truck steering lurch

The steering will pull when going around corners it feels as if it is slipping or about to loose controll it does not feel safe and i have no idea what it could be, it also kind of feels like the steering is gone for a minute... please help

the worm gear for the steering might be going bad, I would definatly take it in and have the steering checked.
