oil pressure gauge and whats the normal pressure

i have a oil pressure gauge and whats the normal pressure rate for this LS 4.3L V6 vortec my oil pressure jumps from 40LBS at Idle to Close to 60lbs when driving i hade the Oil sending unit replaced in November should i be worried about blowing of my Oil Filter

what is this on exactly??

A '97 S-10 V6 vortec is only 6psi at 1k RPM and 24psi at 4k RPM. This is for the s10..there are several LS models for Chevy though...Venture LS, Monte Carlo LS etc....

your oil pressure specs remain the same..
