1997 Chevy Truck Master Cylinder Reservoir

Brakes problem
1997 Chevy Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My Master Cylinder Reservoir is loose and leaking at the rubber gaskets where it attaches to the cyclinder. How do I remove it so that i can replace it? Will I have to bleed the brakes if I replace just the reservoir?

if you have not ran it out of fluid, it should be okay. Just pop off the reservoir, make sure you drink as much fluid out as you can, hold your finger over the bottom, and don't get any on the truck paint, you may have to go to your local junkyard to pick up the reservoir and rubber gasket.
