In the summer my truck's idle would start at 1000RPM on start up and would settle after 5 min at 600 rpm

Now winter has come its always -3 Celcius out and now its starts a 1000RPM and wont settle at 600 rpm now it sits a 1000-900 but will settle when engaged into ODrive goes to normal 600 rpm new EGR valve last summer

Take out the idle air control motor. Its gonna have to idle a bit higher for longer due to the temperature now.

Clean up the iac when you get it out. Also start checking for vaccum leaks. Use a can of carbuerator cleaner.
