1997 Chevy Truck ball joint replacements

Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1997 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Living in Alaska and need help replacing my son's truck's upper and lower ball joints. Able to remove the upper, but can not break loose the lower. Need advise on how to change these out. Thanks.
