1997 Chevy Truck 97 Chevy starter dragging

On my 1997 Chevy K1500 truck when the engine is warm if I turn it off for a few minuates when I restart it the starter drags slow but the engine starts. This only seems to happen when the engine is warmed up cold starts are normal. Does this sound like the starter? The battery is good less than a year old.

Recheck your battery condition-for the starter the only way to tell is to have starter current draw test/load tested
