Where do I find the temperature sensor on my 1997 chevy s10? I have followed from the rad and looked. Please help!

4 cyl. or 6cyl. ? on a 4cyl.the temp. sender is on the right side of the manifold behind the thermostat housing ,behind or (underneath) the quick disconnect coolant hose connection; on a 6cyl. it's on the left cylinder head
