I bought this truck from a government auction sight about 200 miles away from where I live. On the way home from picking it up, it started to show power fluctuations on the volt meter. I took it to my local AutoZone, they tested the alternator, and it came back bad. So, I replaced the alternator. Things ran good for a day, and then this morning I went out to the truck to start it and it just didn't want to start. It finally did, but on my way home for luch, it stalled out twice and I have not been able to get it to start since. The engine does click, it just won't catch. Now, the truck did sit for 2 months before I bought it, so I don't know if the problem is bad fuel, a bad fuel filter, pump, or relay. Any suggestions?

see if it will run on starter fluid. if it starts then stays running on starter fluid then you probably have a bad fuel pump.
