1996 Chevy Truck rear end locked up

the rear main seal has been leaking for a while. the other day i noticed that the leak had stopped. a couple of days later i went to drive it by backing ot of the driveway and the rear end lock up. the transmission level is good.

See if there is fluid in the rear.
