Transmission problem
1996 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Just bought this 1996 Sierra 1500 My son-in-law did routine Maintance on truck He change the transmission filter and fluid now we have no gears recheck the filter just to make sure it did not fall out but it is in place Can you give me any Idea what happen and how to fix Thanks
