Engine Performance problem V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 246000 miles

I WAS DRIVING IT AND IT JUST QUIT AND WOULD NOT RESTART. I CAN HEAR THE FUEL PUMP COMING ON FOR THAT INITIAL 2 SECS EVERY TIME A CYCLED THE KEY. I THOUGHT I WAS NOT GETTING SPARK UNTIL I STARTED THE ENGINE ON STARTING FLUID. SO I GUESS IT IS A FUEL PROBLEM AFTER ALL? I HAVE FUEL @ THE RAIL. SO IF I HAVE SPARK AND FUEL, WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE?? I CHECKED ALL OF MY FUSES AND THEY ARE ALL OK?? MY FUEL PRESSURE REG I THINK IS OK. I PULLED MY OIL DIP STICK AND THERE WAS NO FUEL INSIDE OF MY CRANK CASE. I DON'T SMELL ANY FUEL AT ALL WHEN CRANKING THE ENGINE.. I ALSO HAVE POWER AT MY IN HARNESS. PLEASE HELP...

Welcome to the forum, use a gauge and check fuel pressure, 60 psi or better, key on engine off. Also, the fuel poppets on the spider system may need to be cleaned.
