1995 Chevy Truck V8 Manual 220000 miles

I have a 95 chevy 1500 ext cab silverado. My 4x4 does not engage. When I shift it into 4 wheel the blower motor shuts off and stays off. Its not until I put it back in 2 wheel and wait a few minutes that the blower motor will come back on. Also the blower motor only works on high. It has been replaced only to have the same problem. Are these issues related? What can I do?

Actually, the bolwer motor sounds like a bad blower motor resister. As far as the 4wd, have you checked to see if there is power to the actuator on the transfer case?

I have a 1995 chevy 2500 with same problem. Replaced actuator already. No lights on 4x4 and when u take fuse out for 4x4 blower comes back on. Im so lost!
