Transmission problem
1995 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

truck acts like it is stuck in first gear. Idle runs high, even seems to accelerate at times. This is a very intermittent problem and is not happening consistently. I drove truck for about an hour and it did it a few times, then as engine warmed up, it seemed to stop..??? not sure...??? As engine was idling at about 2100 rpm,( I was coasting at about 20 mph) I shifted truck into neutral, this did not affect the idle speed at all, still reved high...not actually revving up...just won't go back to idle speed...again, it feels like it's stuck in first gear, yet if I switch to neutral, doesn't change the rpm...It is in neutral...just rev's high. At a stop sigh, after I let off brake, truck accelerated to about 20 mph without me touching accelerator pedal. Then..after a few more minutes of driving around...stopping, starting, etc....it quits acting weird and goes back to all normal...???
