1995 chevy 1500 gas mileage

is 250 miles good for a 1995 chev 1500 5.7 Z71 on a 23 gallon gas tank? or could it be improved?

That is rather low. You should be looking between 14 and 16MPG City, 21MPG Highway... It may be time for a simple tuneup. Plugs, Air Filter, etc.

i have already done all that it seems that after i did the tuneup the mileage went down for some reason. the gaps and plugs are correct i dont see where its coming from. i did notice at a idle the vehical doesnt move much in drive as like other chev trucks ive driven. also in the rear axel either from the brakes or the differential there is a slight wine sometimes when i slow down when i first start driving the truck.
