1994 Chevy Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

wont switch off sometimes switches on by itself has new electric switch that mounts at bottom of steering sector it also melted the hot battery post ruined battery

Maybe there is a problem with ignition switch? Primary voltage to injectors and ignition coil, goes hot when you turn on the key. I'd have to check circuit to and from the ignition switch.
