I have a 1994 chevy truck and am replacing the orifice tube. I am having trouble getting the new one in. It will go in about 75% of the way and then it just sticks. Is there a trick to it that I am missing. I noticed the line has some notches in it so that it looks like you have to line the tube up just the right way, but even when I line it up I can't get it in and I don't want to force it. The old one was pretty tough to get out also.

Are you putting it in the correct way? They do seal inside the tube with an o'ring, but you should be able to push it in if it is pointing the right way

Yeah I'm putting it in the right way, the old one was pretty tough to get out. I did this same tube probably four five years ago, I don't remeber it being this difficult. I'm at a lost on what to try next. I tried lubing it with compressor oil but still a no go.

I take it you matched it up to theold one? Some of them have a different shape on the end of them, but otherwise look the same

Yeah I matched them up and there the same. Seal, length and everything. I'm going to mess with it a little bit tonight again. I'm just afraid of breaking it inside the tube.
