What type, size, or brand is the best to use when I am seeking out a hotter plug for my 1991 5.7 liter v8 chevy truck that has 210,000 miles and burning oil in the #2 cylinder? The guys at my local auto parts store don't seem to know what I mean by "hotter", so I need to just tell them a part number or type to get me. I have a brand new coil, distributor, cap, rotor and wires and a good set of hot plugs is my missing link. Thanks alot for your time.

try platinum plugs. look for plugs that are for your modle, have them lay out a bunch of plugs for yoru vehicle and pick the one with the lowest amount of thread on them so they are up in the head further.
