I have a 1991 chevy 1500 pickup and i just put a new clutch in it less than a year ago. It was fine up until a few days ago. Now when i push the clutch in when the vehicle is stopped and i let the clutch back out it makes a chattering noise only at first. This only happens once in awhile probably once every 5 times i let the clutch out from a stopped positon. What do you think could be the problem?

Hi there,

You may have a defective spring in the clutch plate hub, if so there is not to much that you can do about it, short of replacing the clutch again. I would let it go for a while and if it gets worst maybe look at replacing the clutch.
