Brakes problem
1989 Chevy Truck Two Wheel Drive Automatic 140 miles

I have two trucks one is a 92 GMC Sierraand the other is a 89 Chevy silverado, i took one of the brake lights of the 89 to put on the 92 and it didnt work so i put the light bake on the 89, know i dont have no brake lights or reverse lights on the 89. what could have caused this to happen, all the lights worked fine on the 89 before i took the one brake light out to put on the 92.

they had problems with the pins in the connectors and the crude "circuit board" on the tail light housing would corrode.
I would check that out first.
