I was hauling a load of wood when my truck started lacking a little power and immediately started over heating before I got to the side of the road it died. The pan bolt was missing and oil was gone. Towed it home and put oil in it, wont turn over, starter engages just cant turn over. Wondering if its seized.

Hi:
Yes it sounds seezed. What you can try is to spray a little penetrating oil in the cylenders, let it sit, and take a breaker bar and see if you can turn the engine at the crankshaft. Chances are even if you do get it loose, there will be internal damage, but you may get luckey enough that it may still run.

Let me know what happens, of if you have other questions.

Joe
