how do you find the 1 cylinder plug wire terminal on distributor 1986 chevy c/k

#1 cylinder is driver side front cylinder, ffollow wire from there to cap, thats the #1 wire on the cap. If that dont work, put #1 cylinder on compression stroke at tdc and then pop off the cap, where the rotor is pointing is the cylinder it is firing on.
