1980 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

rebuilt motor went with edelbrock 650 electric choke would not run right after playing with it for awhile I get it to run fine. Everyone shachs heads. Its not going to run that way well there right. After two three days back to not running. Mech comes back to carb and sets everything to specs will not run maybe a new quadrjetthinks bobby

How many cubic inches is the motor? The motor is rebuilt, did you over size the bore? If so, how much?
What is the motor doing to not run right? What are you doing to the carb that has everybody scratching their heads? Is the intake manifold stock? Please give more information on the motor symptoms--the more info the better.
