1978 Chevy Truck starting

Electrical problem
1978 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Just happened. Turn key to start and nothing, battery good, lights bright. Jiggled gear shift to see if that helped still nothing. The interior light dim just a little bit when I hit the start position whith key.

Hi:
It sounds like the starter. Remove it and have it bench tested at a parts store. If it's good, check the starter relay.
