1977 Chevy Truck U-joints

I replaced the u-joints in the rear driveline and it is still making a loud claing. Any ideas?

Did you replace all the joints? And the ones on the front axle, if it's 4X4? Check the tranny mount under the tailshaft.

Were the u-joints worn out or did you just replace them thinking that was the problem? Where is the claing coming from?
