I have a whistling coming from the front defroster. This happens when it is cold outside, and only while accelerating. After awhile the noise gets quieter, but is still there.

You may have some debris in the fan assy. Only way to find out is to take it out.

It could also be an engine/drivetrain noise. Does it do it in Park when revving engine, or just when moving?

It does it when it's below zero. It does not do it in park, or reving the engine. I can hold down the pedal at a certain point, and get the noise. When I let off of the pedal, it will whistle for a few seconds and then stop. Could this be a vacum issue?
Thanks.
