2005 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello Ive got a 2005 Chevy trailblazer with and check engine light on and have a solus pro snap on scaner Ive connected to the obdII port and fond that pin 16 had no power so i plugged the cigarette liter power code and my went thru the vin step on the the scanner yet when it go to communicate it wont connect the key is on the on position. Ive even tried anther scanner and nothing so I know it not the scanner any hints.

Check to make sure the wiring harness to the PCM is tight. Check pin 16 at the PCM to make sure it is making a good connection and is not corroded. Also, check continunity through that wire.
