2004 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

last night, I went to refill my gas tank, and my car wouldn't let me put in anymore than $4 worth and my gauge read in between 1/4 and empty, what could be up?

your sending unit could be bad or the vent may havegotten plugged up somehow. It woul dreally need to be looked at to find out for sure.
