2003 Chevy Trailblazer won't engage

it blew a cooling line was driven18 miles. had 3qts.left in pan changed line, filter and gasket.addede 5qt's dex6. dropped pan again,had no fluid in pan. reinstalled pan added 6 qt's dex3. now still won't engage and blowing white smoke thru exhaust.
