2003 Chevy Trailblazer shifting hard

when im driving and it switchs into second or third gear it shifts very hard is there anything to do myself to fix this problem

first check your fluid level, if that is good then i suggest taking it in and have them check the 2-3 shift solenoid and the synchronizers, hard to do yourself.
