THE REAR END WOBBLES BACK AND FORTH WHEN ACCELERATING. THINK IT MAY BE REAR SHOCKS. IS THERE A WAY TO FIND OUT FOR SURE? IF i DO NEED TO REPLACE THE SHOCKS, DO i ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO REPLACE FRONT STRUTS?

you mean the rear end goes side to side? that is not shocks, that is a link of some kind in the rear suspension that is supposed to hold the rear axle from going side to side like that..
