My remote just stopped working. Since I've had it for 7 years, and it still had the original battery, I replaced the battery, but it still does not work. I have verified that the new battery is correctly installed. Is there any way to test it? Before I try to buy a new key fob, I want to verify that this one is the problem, not the vehicle's receiver.

This sounds like they just failed. I would run through the programming procedure and the testing that I attached.

If this does not work then you will need to replace them and program them using the process attached.

Run through this material and let us know if you have questions. Thanks
