1996 Chevy Trailblazer Brake light does not go out

I had a bad brake line (leaking) I replaced the line and bled the brakes. The brake light in the dash will not go out. I drove all around town hoping it would go out. It did not. The brake pedal is almost at the top. I double checked the fluid level in the master cylinder it is is full. Can you help?

what color light?

is the levelproperly full?

disconnect level sensor on the master cylinder, does light go off?

make sure the float on the level is up t the top. it could be haning up in the cylinder. try tapping on the master cylinder resevoir.
