1996 Blazer clunk noise in front end

I am in need of help to find a clunking noise at low speeds in the right front, normally when backing up and turning (like backing out of a parking spot). I have replaced both front hub assemblies, upper and lower front ball joints, controll arm and shocks. (Plus a lot more not related to this problem) A neighbor told me his Blazer starting the same thing right before he sold it and I have found others with the same issue on different forums, but no suggestions on what the fix may be. Any suggestions?

The Blazer is AWD, full time 4X4.

How do I verify if the CV joints are good or bad? Visual inspection looks good.

If the boot is damaged, you pretty much definitely want to replace them. If the boot looks fine, there still could be some damage. CV joint work is not a simple task. You may want to take it to a shop (hopefully you have a mechanic "buddy") and tell them exactly what is happening, and you want them to tell you what is wrong. Don't make any guesses and don't tell them what you've already replaced. Keep it simple. They may charge you for up to an hour of labor time for a diagnostic fee, but it's probably going to be worth it to have a pro do it. Get a good estimate and think about it. Good luck.
