Hey, I have a BIG problem. I have had zero problems with my '03 tracker until very recently. Now, I have a very hard time holding the vehicle in the lane, and traction is terrible.

The steering seems stiffer too. The slightest moisture on the road is enough to make it skid, and again-this problem is new. I have driven several winters without incident. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thank You.

Based on your description, it sounds like you have a wheel hanging up. Start by making sure there are no stuck brakes causing one of the tires to drag (not actually skid) resulting in making the vehicle hard to control. If you have one doing that, it would also cause traction problems.

Lift the truck, one wheel at a time, and see if you are able to spin each tire.

Let me know what you find.
