i have 99 chev tracker 2.0 liter auto with 4x4. trans blew... need to put in a used unit. what years are compatible? i have been given three answers... only 1999 will fit... also told that 1999 to 2004 will fit... also told that after 1999 others until 2004 will fit... if some shaft is changed-my old one used... help!!!
i can't afford to waste money buying the wrong unit!!
i found a 2003 with 35,000 kms on it and would like to use it if possible..
thanks in advance for any help!!!

if you found one at a scrap yard they can look at interchange book and tell you the correct answer
