1999 Chevy Tracker head (engine)

2.0L engine. Previous owner had someone put helicoil in #2 sparkplug hole, didn't hold, blew plug out and coil burnt up. This typical for this engine?

labor will be around $700 and a new head is around $1k but i'm sure you could find a rebuilt head for much cheaper , prob. around 200.
