Our Tahoe occaisonally has problems starting. Most of the time it starts just fine. However, sometimes, without warning, it will not start at all -- turning the key has no response, no starter noise, only the click of the relay on the firewall.

The lights on the dash and access items all turn on so there is power to the truck. The battery also has plenty of juice, is charging fine, and cranks fine when it decides to start. We've cleaned all of the connections and checked the cables. The relay on the firewall has also been replaced.

If you sit for 5 minutes and try again it starts and runs fine. It acts almost like there is a switch somewhere (security or surge protection) that is tripped and then you need wait for a reset. Then, once it resets, it works just fine.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Any thoughts on where to look? Any thoughts or suggestions would be sincerely appreciated...

Thanks Much;
