The driver side mirror on our 2006 Tahoe was recently broken. There was a fluid (greentish in color) in the mirror and it went on the side of the vehicle. We managed to get most of it off but it in a few spots it left a brown streak. The area most affected was the trim on the side. What do you recommend to remove it?

The fluid is called electrochromic fluid. There is no remover for this fluid, HOWEVER I have used Rain EX Bug and tar remover on this with great sucess...Put the stuff on the area and leave it on for a few DAYS -- that's right -- a few days. Then wipe it off. I don't know how but it works. If not the streak must be sanded out - primered - and painted.
