2005 Chevy Tahoe V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The steerimgwheel does not lock when I have removed the ignition key.Why is that?

i dont think they ever did. i thought they got rid of that for safety concerns, call your local dealer they will be able to tell you for sure
