Sometimes when you try to accelerate -car will not take it- sort of dies. Have added fuel injector cleaner and dry gas to fuel, and have tightened connectors to air cleaner. These measures did not work. Is there a sensor that could be defective?

It could be a skewed reading from the MAF sensor.
