2003 Chevy Tahoe Windshield wipers

My windshield wipers will not cut off, they are running on low and the only way to turn off is to remove fuse. Wipers are turned off on the steering column but continue to run.
What parts operate the wipers, trying to narrow down where the problem may be before taking to dealership.
