Electrical problem
2003 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Our 03 Tahoe has recently begun to misread the fuel amount in the tank. If we fill the tank , it stops at the 3/4 mark, and will not go any lower. Also the speedo has gone completely wacky. If we are driving at about 60 mph the speedo reads 125 or so. I was wondering if there was an electronic module that controlled both. Please help!!!!

for some reason it seems the gauge cluster on these vehicles is suspect. Mine quit reading the odometer and my brother in laws quit registering fuel level. Unfortunatly it seems the only fix is to replace the cluster, relatively expensive considering it has to be done by the dealship or other qualified mechanic that can re sync the cluster with the computer so that the correct mileage is displayed
