when I start the tahoe everything sounds ok, after a few minutes like when it gets warmed it starts to make a noise like a grinding noise, when I accelerate the noise goes away and then it comes back when I let go off the accelerator.

If you let it warm up, will it make the noise at an idle? If so, I need you to try something. Warm it up until it starts making the noise. At that point. Shut the engine off, and remove the serp belt. Restart the engine only for a few seconds to see if the sound is gone. If it is, my first guess is the water pump. THere is a small weep hole on the underside of the pump. Check it with a mirror to see if there is any evidence of coolant leaking.

Let me know what you find.
