I recently changed out the fuel pump due to not getting enough pressure and the SUV was shutting off. A few days ago , it kept shutting off at the stoplights, so I had the fuel filter changed. Today it keeps shutting off, like it's niot getting enough gas. I have no idea what it can be, any suggestions?

The fuel pressure was checked and was okay. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter as well. Truck runs good but when it acts up, it stalls out at the lights and shuts off. Then the battery goes dead and I have to get a jump start.

yes it would. if some of the cells are "dead" , then the alternator is not gonna be able to keep it charged to its full capacity, therefore making the battery unable to keep the car running. everything needs power,,including the transmisssion. you can have the battery tested for free at autozone.
