My SUV has had some problems of late, I started it the other day and the battery was dead. I jumped it and it was fine. After driving for 1 hr I came home. 4 hours later, I came to start it again and it wouldnt start battery was dead. Then got it running after a jump. Went to gas station shut it off came back to start and it started but dropped to almost 0 rpm and had a real difficult time to remain running. Im hoping its an easy fix. Can u help? And I replaced my battery.

Take your battery to a local auto parts store (i.E. Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone. Etc.) To have them test it (for free). They can tell you if it has the recommended amount of volts or if it is dead. If it is good, you should get your alternator tested to ensure it is putting out recommended volts as well. The same auto parts store will do this test for free as well.
