2002 Chevy Tahoe a single type of knock noise

my truck makes that knock noise one time,when shifting in and out of 2nd gear.any addvice will help

Check all 4 u-joints (two in rear drive shaft and two in front drive shaft)or just replace them. Check the rear pinion bearing for too much play by disconnecting the rear drive shaft and pushing the differential yoke from side to side and up and down. Check the engine and transmission mounts.
