2002 Chevy Tahoe Two Wheel Drive

My parking brake has been disengaged but the truck doesn't recognize that the brake is off and gives me a warning chime if I attempt to drive.

Does the brake dissengage? If so, check along the kick panel where the park brake pedal is located. You will see a switch that turns the light / chimes on and off based on the position of the pedal. Make sure it is properly adjusted.

Let me know what you find.
