2001 Chevy Tahoe speedomiter and odomiter not working

we are looking at a 01 tahoe and the speedomiter and odomiter do not work shpuld there be a code for this and if so what code should it be

Hello, I saw two vss codes, po603 and po604. One is low signal and the other intermittent signal. Codes don't always set when they should and the code doesn't tell you what to replace.
