2001 Chevy Tahoe Replacing drive line u-joint

How do you remove the u-joint from the drive line? The epoxy plugs are very strong. Please give step by step instructions. I have replaced u-joints before but have never encountered these types of plastic plugs.

I use a tourch, heat the end cap of the joint till the epoxy squirts out of the hole, then replace as usual. On reassembly you will now use the lock clips supplied with the new joint.
